MYSIA. Pergamon. Circa 166-67 BC. Cistophorus (Silver, 29 mm, 12.50 g, 12 h), circa 166-160. Cista mystica from which snake coils; around, ivy wreath with fruits. Rev. Two snakes coiled around a bow case; to left, monogram of ΠΕΡΓ; to right, kerykeion. Carbone II (O2/R2). Kleiner & Noe series 7. SNG Paris 1700. SNG von Aulock 7462. Well struck and perfectly centered. Somewhat rough, otherwise, extremely fine.
